Parus Interactive Receives Communications Solutions Magazine Product of the Year Award

Honor Recognizes Company’s Speech Recognition Product as an Outstanding Innovation

Bannockburn, IL – July 7, 2006

Parus Interactive, a leader in distributed workforce communications and customer care solutions, today announced that Communications Solutions magazine online has selected Parus as a recipient of its Product of the Year Award for 2005. The prestigious award recognizes Parus Interactive for its use of enhanced speech applications on self-service phones and kiosks, demonstrating excellence in technological advancement and application refinements.

Parus Interactive’s self-service kiosks provided attendees a the National Retail Federation’s "Big Show 2006”with the opportunity to dial one number to access critical show information using speech recognition technology. Attendees were able to access the conference show times and registration information, special event information and reminders, and the host hotel information. In addition, attendees could access the booth number of any of the conference exhibitors by name or product category.

Through Parus Interactive’s automated software, solution retailers at the show were able to improve their business processes and enhance their overall customer service levels. By adding voice-activated self-service options, Parus helped companies reduce the expense of providing a positive customer experience.

This prominent award acknowledged Parus Interactive’s Order Status Application and the company’s work with Wine.com, the internet's largest online wine retailer. Wine.com was looking for a way to automate its shipment tracking processes to improve its customers’ experience and reduce the expense of customer service.
