Parus Interactive to showcase their speech recognition technology at the National Retail Federation’s 95th Convention & Expo

The National Retail Federation's 95th Convention & Expo "Retail’s Big Show 2006," will be held at the Javits Center in New York City, January 15-18, 2006.

The unique automated service, exclusively provided by Parus Interactive for BIG Show 2006 attendees and exhibitors, allows an attendee to retrieve valuable BIG Show information using speech recognition technology. By dialing 888-NRF-3366, or visiting a specially designed kiosk, sponsored by Parus Interactive in partnership with KING Products and Solutions Inc., located in different locations on the show floor, an attendee is able to use the following speech-enabled services:

  • Show Times and Registration Information

    Simply say "Show Times" to access BIG Show 2006 show times and registration information by date.

  • Special Event Information and Reminders

    Get the latest information on BIG Show special events, including date, time and location. You can even have a text message reminder for any event sent to your cell phone while you’re at the show!

  • Big Show Host Hotel Information

    Hear the names of BIG Show host hotels. Automatically connect to any host hotel by saying the name of the hotel you want to reach.

  • Private Meeting Scheduler

    Access the booth number of any BIG Show exhibitor by name or by product category. Once you've found the exhibitor, you can call them or make an appointment to meet with the exhibitor at their booth! For your convenience, this service will remain available prior to, during and for one month following the Big Show.
